    Hey Samo,
It doesn't make sense to me to buy a lure not knowing what fish to target and what fish would attack it. Personally, I would buy a lure that suits the fish I'm targetting.

Anyway, the Cicada will work in freshwater or an estuary situation. You'll find that cicadas hang in trees, when the trees are hanging over water, the cicada will sometimes drop into the water either through misadventure or in their dying stage.

Ask yourself what species live in the waterway under trees using the shade as cover, ready to ambush when a bug hits the water.

Everything from Bass in the fresh to Jacks, Barra etc in the creeks.

Summer would be the best time of year for these lures I reckon, cast into the shadows or whatever under the overhanging trees and see what happens.

Good luck mate, go get some fish on them.

    Cheers Jeff.

    Mate,

Let me tell you they also smash the bream in the estuarys. The black and orange yellow are personal favorites.

    bream.

cast out, slow steady retrive, dont strike the bream, let them swallow it and then apply some pressure
