LGM, Probably a bit decieving of me, but no, I dont target bass at Monduran. Those fish come from Isis balancing storage. near Bundaberg. Its a sweet little alternative to the barra....although I might start targeting them at Mondy, but I just cant help reverting to barra chasing!!!!Originally Posted by Little grey men

I was camping at Thora in NSW, freshwater goes down the mountain from Dorrigo.
Tried and caught a striped herring about 15cms night before.
Lunch time next day 3rd cast a 33cms bass (let him go)
next hole 1st cast 49cm Bass.
Its a wild creek bass.
Fought pretty tough, almost as good as my mates Jack I netted for him last friday.
I thought it might have been an estaury perch because of the bump on its head but it does have red eyes.
Also it was very full and fat, my guess about 2.5kgs
