Tried another spot in the dam today and was rewarded with the best Bass session I have ever had anywhere. None of the fish were real big(the biggest was 43cm), but In one 40 bite period I landed around 15 fish. They were smashing everything I threw at them. Mostly caught on plastics and most were hooked before the plastic hit the bottom. If they were not hooked on the drop, a slow retrival had one hooked after a few turns on the handle. At one stage I was on the phone to my brother inlaw telling him to get to the dam fast and I hooked a bass and whilst still on the 73 second phone call released it and hooked another one. After he arrived some ten mnutes later the fish kept biting for about another 20minutes and then shut down. Total fish to me was about 25-30 and about 7 or 8 to the brother inlaw. Also managed one yellow. Action was hot from about 3pm till about 4.30pm. Back tommorow for another go I think.

Great catch mate. Sounds like you really slaughtered them. Will be heading out tomorrow to try and hook a few. Hopefully this time will have a bit of luck. Was the yella a good size. Well done
