    Nice Trout and Bluey Inshore

Well I couldnt post this in offhsore because offshore to me is when you can t see land or at least 5km but where I got these fellas was only 1km off the coast so I have put it here

Well got out in those cold westerly for a dive and managed some nice fish. Nailed some quality trout and a good bluey that went 5.2kg cleaned. Managed a thumper trout and a thumper cray from the same hole which was nice. Went down and stuck my head in a cave and saw a nice cray. After I pulled him out I notice a trout tail there as well so I nailed him as well.

My karma job of the day was telling a bloke who was trolling where I had seen some spanish crusising. He went over chucked out a ribbon and minutes later hooked up nice spanish which took a while to get in. After a quick weigh the fish went 37kg gutted which was a nice fish and Im pretty sure hes buying me a round or two next time we go to the pub.

    Anyway heres a few pics

    Devo,

I must've read your mind, this w/e is looking bloody excellent for inshore reef fishing/diving. I hope to hit the Halifax bay (Townsville region) inshore reefs and with the long term forecast looking so good may even manage a trip out to the Islands.

    Good fishin'
