Today my mate Serge and I decided to try and get some bream and trevs on poppers at my new spot ABC123. On they way down there the heavens opened, but upon arrival we had no wind and rain. Just great conditions.
We started off with the poppers, but nothing was interested. In fact everything was rather quiet, with only a few hits on the favourite SP. I decided to try a few SP's that I don't normally use, and got a little flatty on a smoke red glitter 2" grub. Things improved a bit from than on.
We moved to another area of spot ABC123 and immediately got my PB bream on a 2" pumpkinseed grub. I was stoked to say the least. We ended up loosing a few more fish there and landing one little flatty. But all in all it was a good day out.
Yeh it wasn't a bad day out for you. Meanwhile i could barely raise a scale. We'll have to go check out a few more landbased spots and try and find a winner. Let the explorations begin!
