Whitsundays - this weekend
Hi guys,
Heading up this weekend to fish Sat-Tues with Nicole and a couple of mates. Will be in a bareboat, so confined to the usual areas.
Any reports of late?
Believe the wind has been behaving itself coming out of the west, allowing fishing on the eastern sides, but also believe that it is in the process of switching back around to the east.
Is it like Moreton Bay, where the larger reef fish move into the shallower areas during the cooler months? and is there any pelagic/surface action during the colder months?
Thanks in advance
Christian.

Re: Whitsundays - this weekend
Hi guys,
the weather has been fairly ordinary around the coast, but if anyone has been out lately from Prosepine or the Whitsunday region, any info om what was caught/not caught would be appreciated.
We have always been up in Whitsundays over summer/spring, so not sure how things operate in the cooler months.
If you have any info to offer about how the area fishes differently at the moment compared with warmer seaon it would be good to hear.
As mentioned, I assume that like here in Moreton Bay, the larger reefies may move in to the shallower areas - I hope so at least.
Thanks
