2nd weekend in a row watched a heap of boats pull into and anchor up at Spot X off Ormiston. They stayed and fished into the night after I left. HAvent seen any reports on here so assuming none of the boats are ausfish members. Either that or they aint letting on.

Anyone been there lately? One would think they might be getting a few there or they wouldnt be there. Havent seen boats like that at Ormiston for a while. Damn,............... shoulda written this in code.

i am talking maybe a dozen or so boats pulling up there. 2nd weekend in a row. interestingly, looked up towards Huybers and couldnt see a boat there late afternoon on dark. Just thought you might beinterested in the info.

I think that with the recent highlighting of popular bay spots and mixed feelings about how frequently good fish are coming over the sides from those spots, Yep, the old maps are being dragged out and studied for other places to go. But it's not time to blow the whistle on Ormiston just yet!! Let me have a crack at it 1st!!

There's no fish there. Only rocks.
Some poor bugger ran aground on the rocks 2 weeks in a row and everyone thought there's fish there.
You know the ways of the water...The easiest way to get assistance on the water. Pretend your landing some nice fish and within 15minutes every bugger in the Bay will be anchored in your burley trail.
Trust me... there's nothing there....honest

Ormiston you say - hmmm - I think this is a red herring Mike. You're just trying to throw the scent off the other spots aren't you!! Trying to get the boats away to keep the catch for yoruself....I see that. Hmmm - yes it all becomes clear.

Hi Mike, Tried to PM you the 50 Bucks but the slot in my computer desktop box thingy doesnt take notes - apparently it takes coins tho... (according to the 4 year old) but gets pretty full pretty quick. but hey feel free to PM me the details anyway... I did TRY!!

Anyway - from what I heard Ormiston is going to get taken in green zones because of the special biodiversity of coral there or something (according to the greenies) But I think someone forgeot the tell them that much of the coral has been dredged out years ago and turned into cement.... silly greenies!!
