Well weather was marvellous yesterday with averages of 7 knots only problem was pissing down rain.
So Hmm we thinks about fishing today gets up at 5 am cause we know it's freaking freezing if we get up too early. I looked at wind reports and Lo and Behold winds around the 13 knot mark, Any ways we heads out gets about 9 kms from the harbour thought buggar this rough mongrel southerly , so then we seeks shelter trying to troll over a patch of ground known for macks and noppppppppe nuthin
So to secret winter squid spot we goes and at 2 hours before bottom of tide the squid are taking jigs they'd swim up the n move away seen a pod of about 20 squid threw every different squid jig we had at them but nuthin, so the wind swings to the SSE and makes secret squid spot unbearable forcing us onto shallow ground to much so we threw that in and sought shelter to a smsall island known for lipper,(but someone forgot to tell the lipper that) we score one measly trout
Then moved to spot we trolled at and sat in the terrible swell and chop for nuthin. winds now 14 knots gusting 18 knots straight SSE
Gave up and come home
Oh well beats sitting at home, they're still forecasting this heavy rain for tomorrow and tuesday here.
