Garmin G2 charts

Anyone using these charts??

Thinking of puting a Garmin 525 in my new boat https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=148&pID=8107

I was hoping to here if someone has experienced these new generation charts

The main thing drawing me to the garmin is the high resolution of 640x480 in a 5inch (diagonal) screen

Not many places I venture I have to avoid islands etc, but its always nice to have new technolgy and I was really happy with the 172C in my last boat.

It comes up "server not found " on my 'putor when I click on your link.
Could you post a couple of photos of the new rig please.

I also am happy with the garmin bluecharts but would like to see the difference in the new generation ones.

Hi Scott,

My boat will be build number 4. Build number 1 is not finishd yet so no pics are available. As you can imagine the manufacturer is not going to let any publications of his new release until he actually wants it released. The boat has some significant upgrades from the current 6.00m offshore and to say the least is a fishermans dream .

I will certainly post m,any pics of my boat when I take delivery (expected late July) for the fitout.

Certainly something I will be keeping for a very long time

Spaniard i was making the same enquiry a while ago i got a pm from member toolman2810 to have a look at his version of the g2 chart but i have already seen it maybe you could send him a pm or maybe he will se this and reply himsef ,just a thought ......
