    Sounder underwater noises

Gday guys, ive got a question for everyone. It hasnt affected me directly (i dont think). I mean i still catch fish. But went for a fish and decided the water was so nice id jump in and go for a swim. As soon as i hit the water my ears started pinging "loudly" as i had left my sounder on. Do the fish get spooked by this noise at all? I mean even swam away from the boat and could still hear the clicking. Maybe next time i find a school of fish holding on some reef in shallow water i will shut it off and only use my gps to drift back over them.. and see how i go...
