    Monduran video

Heres a video I put together after my recent trip to Monduran. Only managed to boat one fish but had a few 'encounters' that didnt go to plan.

Heading back up there in a month or so, then hopefully there will be a few more fish to film.

May as well throw in the video from November last year too.

    Hope you enjoy!

    Re: Monduran video

Tiges...the last two Barra in the 2nd clip were caught in the bay beside the dam wall (oppisite boatramp). They were both caught trolling as that was at the end of a full days casting...and the shoulders were a little saw.

tanglefoot...the song title is 'A place for my head' by Linkin Park...its on the Hybrid Theory CD.

Glad you guys are enjoying the footage. The video taping is a 50-50 deal. Whoever doesnt have the fish grabs the camera (obviously), but most of the non-fish fighting footage is me. Editing is another one of my hobbies in life, so I like getting all sorts of footage and seeing what I can come up with.

    Good work bloke!

    What program are you using?

I have just got into it and am just using Microsoft Movie Maker but I want to be able to do what you did in the first video and alter the volume of the backing track and the raw audio all the time. With Movie Maker I have only been able to set the volume of both, once only for the duration.

The program I am using is called 'Pinnacle Studio v.10' Its a great program with a heap of options and funky things to do. Takes a bit to fully get to know the program...but well worth it.

    Great post, Leigh.

It has me itching to get back to Monduran. Unfortunately the next trip is already booked but not until October. I understood that through June, July & August that the Barra were few and far between because of the cooler weather.

What is the secret of success in the cooler months?

I will be back up there in October myself...but if all goes to plan, I will be there in August as well...hopefully sooner.

Great Aussie fish accompanied by great Aussie music.Nice editing too m8.Love the Water Monitor footage!

If a picture is worth a thousand words...What's a short movie worth?

Hope to see more of ya work in the future.
