    Software Disc for Garmin GPS60

    Gidday all,

I am asking for a big favour - does anyone have the computer disc that comes with the Garmin GPS60, and is willing to make a copy for me? I bought my GPS60 a while back now and love it! One thing I specially loved was the ability to transfer tracks, waypoints, etc to the PC and then to display them on Google Earth.

Unfortunately my PC had a terminal hard drive failure. I got a new one, and loaded all the software - except I can't find the Garmin disc. I contacted the mob who sold me the GPS, but they want $60 for the software.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Gidday Mike, I have that and a bit of other stuff floating around home such as vehicle mounts etc you can have. (I lost mine so none of it is of any use to me anymore).
Give me a ring tonight on 07-32083600 after 6pm.
    I live in Daisy Hill

Don't worry about it. Download EasyGPS free and use it until you find your Mapsource CD

    Davo,

I've downloaded the EasyGPS program. Do you take your card out of your GPS and simply update your GPS marks on your PC, rather than scrolling through on your GPS unit.

If so, do you simply use the SD card slot on your PC? If it's this simple it will save a lot of time, particarly if you will to plot a course etc.
