Re: Padding for Front Area of Boat
Hi Dnej.
Yes, I understand about the angled/tapered wall profile of the foam - thanks.
I will split my cushions too now. Your idea of splitting these cushions is a good one - as opposed to lifting (trying to) the whole length cushion in the tight area and would be cruel indeed.
How did you manage to ensure the cushions stay matech together like a jigsaw without sliding around?
Where can I find that mesh material?

Re: Padding for Front Area of Boat
Splash,
Bow stern wise, there is not a problem, as there is a raised section at the end of the bunks, where the foot rests are.
Port to starboard, so far I have not had any slipping , but have not been in rough seas either.I intend to glue on some velcro to the ply floor, and corresponding part of the underside of the cushion.
The mesh, dont know, but any fabric supplier, will have it, but Spotlight doesnt.I will ask a contact I have in the trade, and see what I come up with.Try Clarke Rubber, that is a possibility. They will tell you in any case.
