Offshore Ballina

Hey just wondering whats been biting offshore in Ballina or Evans... and if anyones had any good catches last few weeks... also what the weather been like... cheers

Hi Fishyfrost,

Iv'e had a few outings in the last month, not all have been good, check out saltwater reports.

Generally, there has been heaps of current in close, unfishable on the 32s at times, when the 48s or wider has been quite ok. Plenty of pearlies, pigfish, & 'wongs, also lots of sharks around.
I have heard the jackets are on the move & will probably show up soon, so make sure you have plenty of wire traces ready.

thanks muz yeh i been pretty busy lately so haven't had a chance to head out... planning on getting out more regulary but.. monday morning with the old man might become a regular thing. Keen to chase some serious fish :-)
