blue fin on west coast of tassie
early start, spread out by 8.00am and it all happened in the fisrt hour
double hook up, one to the gaff and one lost at the gaff.
next up was me with a bigger fish to the gaff after 15 min
skipper took the next fish
I took the last one
then next one lost on strike
All tuna between 15 and 20 kgs
then went bottom bashing in 125 meters (to much work) for 3 mowies, 2 cod, 1 red rock cod and a schoolie (shark) about 6 foot
I'm buggered
cheers

Sound like a hoot - 15 - 20 kg's excellent....... and even a noah upgrade, outstanding - much better than our effort....
Tassie ah.....

not a good pic, this is one of the smaller models. I left the bigger ones for the skipper , hopeful some pics of them tommorow as they are sleeping on ice tonight.
