Yeah mate he wasn't just spinning a story to sell you the reel! I caught it on an egrell S8 which is a bit heavier than the S10 alot of guys are using for snapper fishing. I've found its really good in those critical moments when you just need to turn the fishes head when he's right on the reef. Running 20lb braid and 30lb leader, the whole outfit got a pretty good testing thats for sure! Sorry to hijack the post by the way blooey!
No worries mate.I also am very impressed with the reel. Mines a 3000.Bloody big G.T mate that sounds a whole lot more fun than the trevs i've been catching lately.Ben
