Welly with tacka at night 29/5/07
Set off at about 6.30 pm for a feed of squire with son after catchin some good size fish with work mates. Thought i would grab one for yougester to keep him keen. After throwin some peckers back got a solid hit from a 55 cm and a 37 cm at the same time. I pulled in the little one while my son held the larger fish at bay. I asked him to pull the rod up and he couldn,t so i took over and landed a solid fish on the fellas 10kilo mono plastic rod. After a quiet end to night we headed in and cought a 42 flatty on the boatramp while talkin to a guy flicken for gar in the light. This is my first log and more to come.

Welcome aboard ddobson.
Nice start to your reporting of activity at Wello. I also talked to a guy at the ramp on Tuesday night and he landed a 60cm lizzard also next to the ramp. Looks like a good place for a land based flick. Would have thought the King island walk would be a good place to flick from.
Cheers
John

Good catch Mr Dobson
still the competition is on to beat my 57cm snapper. Maybe soft plactics might be the trick??? This is just the start of hopefully a good season of fishing......
