    Fish Grabbers

    Today while at Mud i lost my Fish Grabbers....i have them for over 20 years and they were used everytime i go out.....ill attach a pic that shows them a bit...they were stainless steel with powdercoated handles....ive seen those gal lookingones around but havent seen this type...wondering if anyone has seen them..need a new pair !!!

    Can't help mate. They don't look to good for the catch and release though.

    They were really good on things with spikes...( got a fin under a fingernail once)..the main thing about them is all those years and no rust and worked perfect...migh have to go to an old towel....

    try some berkley lip grippers,
    just as easy to use when you get used to them and are a lot better for catch and release

    BogaGrips have better longevity, unfortunately they also cost around 5 times as much

    will have to have a look around and see what i can find.....im not going to go through the fin under the fingernail bit again.....BLOODY SORE........by the way im still trying to get a hold of one of those landing nets, places ive tried have been out of stock....looks like a run to the southside...

    the Bogas are great and will last a lifetime, however dont discount the berkleys,
    just give them a good coat of lanox/inox prior to use and wash under warm water after use, with an occasional re inox.

    they really are the best way to handle fish as you dont run the risk of getting spined by fish or even bitten and it keeps them in pristine condition if your doing catch and release.

    if your after a good landing net go down to that big boating camping fishing place, and have a look at the environet copies. At the moment they are all $20.
    Cant go wrong with that,
