Re: redciffe marina
i think it is the marina at scarbs.
It is impossible to fish around the moored oats as they have security gates preventing access to the jetties however there is a public jetty on the southern side of the marina i have seen some people fishing there.
I would recommend the rock walls on the western side of the marina they run from the boat ramp near the coast guard out through the entrance of the marina every time i return from a trip there is quite a few people fishing here unsure as to there results though.
hope this helps

Ben.
The walls of the Marina fish well at night. Do not forget the Redcliffe jetty, spoke to a couple of elderly gentlemen there and they admit to getting broken off frequently when fishing the end of the pier and casting towards the breakwater wall.

Almost any where around the Scarborough Harbor (Coast Guard base) will give the odd fish or two. I have often seen a number of people on the public pontoon next to the ramp at the entrance. Doubt it very much if you will get to fish from the area around the moored boats owing to all the security and stuff.
Redcliffe jetty is also another good spot for land based fishing. Not allowed to use cast nets from that one though.

Re: redciffe marina
at the end of the reclaimed rock wall other other side of the entraqnce from the coast guard has lots of area that fishes well in westerlies. A lot better location than in the harbour itself.
A few yrs ago DPI were daily taking water samples of the harbour monitoring cholera levels. Talking to them one day they told me the harbour has had cholera bacteria resident in it for about 20 yrs. The levels are low but because it is there they monitor it regulalry just in case it spikes and they have to close the area off.
