    good day at wellington point

Went down to wello today, took a mate from work with me (Bert) we both work shift work together so it`s good that we get days off during the week and miss the crowds. Got there about 5:00 am things were a bit quite until it just started to get light then we got a few Snapper a Cod and a Sweetlip. It started off with about 10 knots wind then it was dead still for most of the morning.Got a few more snapper and a lot of grinner shit. Wind started to pick up and Bert got another good Snapper and that was that, time to head home. All fish were caught on plastics Pumpkin Seed Swimming Mullet,Lime Tiger Minnows and Nuclear Chicken Minow used some others but not much good on the day.All up we got 6 Snapper ,1 Cod, 1 Sweetlip and 1 Bream.

Yes we fished about 500 meters north of the markers along the dropoff towards the next red marker in about 4 meters.

Maybe! Maybe not! One will have to wait with anticipation as to where we might end up...

Good stuff NOTSA! Certainly beats the lack of fish that existed there on Sun morning... Mid week are by far the best times to hit a popular spot like that!

Well done notsa. That's a great feed of fish. Kind of envious now that I am off my holidays and back at work. Fishing mid-week is the way to go but still it is good to get out there any time. Fishing is unpredictable at best and you just never know when you are going to have a great session weekend or not. Tight lines.
