You are not kidding, I talked to muzz last night and I think he is still rattled. Shit like that takes years off you I reckon, now the drama begins with the boat and I don't see that being resolved anytime soon unfortunately.
Went out this morning, BOM report seemed promising but Buoy Weather wasn't as optimistic and I found out the hard way who got the money!!! Wind on tide and as big a mess as I have been out in. Very deceiving. Caught bait and came home on the worst flood tide bar crossing yet, no way to pick it.Best forgotten.
Let me know when you want to get out to wet a line I am always going out on my pat malone, everybody makes noises about getting out but when it comes to the crunch they are MIA On the weekdays is my preferred choice.
cheers glen hopefully the boat should be goin again in a couple of weeks!so i might have to go chase some jewys its that time of the year .we saw you home early yesty cheers ida
just thought I'd finish this subject for the moment with a bit of good news, the old girl is booked in for some serious repairs & should be back soon better & stronger than ever, & yes, old mate is being quite friendly.
I will post a few photos when the time comes.
Many thanks again to the many Ausfish members who have offered moral support,
& a word of warning to any boaties @ Ballina,
keep an eye out for a white & blue boat, that,
if you come anywhere near it WILL......
-blow it's horn profusely
-wave arms & shout
-wave flags if needed
-throw un-needed bait or sinkers if you come too close.
