    Shimano Tyrnos...

I`ve just noticed a couple of online stores selling Shimano Tyrnos 30`s in 2 speed for around the $380 mark.....I`m wondering if anyone knows of any tackles shops in the Brisbane area that have these with a similar price tag? Cheers!

I have seen them advertised on ebay here in Aust...I am pretty sure they are around the same price....I own 2 Tyrnos 30 ..(not the 2 speed ) models...great reel and they are bullet proof..

Yeah that`s one of the places I saw them Mick....sounds like a good price.

JustQ I guess I don`t have a prob buying some things online but I`m a little aprehensive when it comes to something that has a bit of a dollar value to it.....also the delivery charge is around 20 bucks so I just thought if there was a local store selling them for the same kind of price that might be the way to go

In general fishing you will never use the low speed, some local shops have the single speed on special for $269.....BCF

    Re: Shimano Tyrnos...

Go to your local and explain the situation and work out a price that is favourable to you both. You have to expect to pay a premium plus the freight you would have had to pay. Reason why the majority of online retailers can sell so cheap is due to lack of overheads.

Bonus - you get to take the reel home with you today and if there is a problem you can actually take it back without any freight dramas.
