mackerel and northern blues in the shipping channel?

hello all,

just wondering if anyone has headed out through brisbane rd in the last few days and noticed and palagic activity..?

or any seen lately in the bay?

i have an rdo tomorrow and just trying to put a few ideas together....

any help will be greately apreciated......

When i was out on monday, i could see some activity in the paddock (between mud and the sandhills)...there was a moron zipping around at full boar chasing them , so i didnt bother going over...looked like a fair size school...well a heap of birds working anyway....would have been a good day for it..nice and overcast...came across some little guys near the compass adj on the way back..broken pods looked like bonitos....all less than a foot long

Hey Jez,

There was a few massive bust up early just east of green but they were moving very quick and didnt hang around they looked like good fish though - in the 10-15kg class. Good luck tomorrow - looking forward to a report!

thanks guys,i think i will give the paddock a go.....might go early and have a look around mud and see if i can locate some good grounds as i have never had any lick there.........thanks again for the replies....................jez
