It,s been a while since Iv,e put up a post,but a fellow ausfisher talked me into one.
About 3 weeks ago I went chasing my favorite fish spanish with no luck, but got to witness a hoo swimming around the berly he went 55lb caught on 10, a personal best unfortunatly the batteries were flat in the camera and all colour had faded once back on land.That arvo I went after bar cod and managed 3 to about 8 kg as this was my first attemt at this species I put it down to a top day.
Last weekend I went after spanish again and only managed 1 spottie for the mournings effort but my buddie was keen to get a good cobe so off we went to give it a go .It didn't take long and he had 1 about 18 kg in the boat.
We missed hooking another fish then it was my turn this was a good fish and when he was thrashing around I couldn't believe the size of those gills flaring up in the distance.Anyway 30 hours after capture weighing guts and fish seperate it went around 34kg another p.b not by much but still I was wrapped.
Who wouldn't be.
P.S. I won't talk about the weekend inbetween there was another pb but no pics
