i fish the bay alot and was wondering weather any body could give me sum tips on bait fishing for queenies in the bay and also where abouts?
PS> does any body no if this fish travels up the brisbane river and how far?

from my knowledge it seems that the queenies skip the bay... i have caught them in the passage and i know they are down the coast but i havnt heard of any captures in the bay itself....

The little feller caught 2 on consecutive trips at Chain banks (next to the green beacon) they were only about 40 cms and both fell to squid.

I've caught 5cm ones in a cast net at jacobs well, there'd have to be bigger ones close by??
I dont hear many reports of queenies in Moreton Bay....I have only caught a few good ones on the sunshine coast and all have been in Noosa River.
Poppers & plastics work well.

What months are good for chasing the Queenies on the Sunny Coast area. Do they go off the bite at all up there???

Go over to the tanga wrecks and cast a few poppers, should be able to lure a few queenies and Gt's
