Rod for Daiwa Emblem Pro 5500?

Hi Team,
What rod should I buy for the Emblem Pro 5500? To be used for Mackerel spinning from a boat. It needs to cast a country mile, so perhaps 8ft or longer?

I have an Emblem Pro on the Wilson Live Fibre ZWS80LG. Works a treat, but depending on budget there are plenty of options costing a lot more and a bit less.

If you live around Brisbane go & see Mark at Budds in Cleveland & have a look at the rod he makes the" 9 Nines Fight" I got one on the same reel & use it for the same as you plus lure casting in the surf for tailor etc.

Hi I am currently using an origional diawa emblem surf 12ft rod 15 to 30lb absolutely awsome to cast with. With the right braid lure,technique and practice you can consistantly cast 120 to 160m. rod model em-es1202mhrs get you'll have loads of fun.
