Can't see why you can't find it. It would appear to stretch from noosa in the north. West to the Brissie mouth and airport then south all the way to tweed. (-:

Maybe a bit of a travel for spiro its bout 9-10miles ese of cape moreton mate.
Its not a place you can fish in current as it regularly runs upto 3 knots.
Cheers Troy
Troy, that mark you put up wouldn,t happen to be the wreck of the Allan or the kosi , there're in about the same depth and the same general area we've pulled some xos pearlies, snapper and some mamoth reef donkies from those wrecks.
cheers liam
I have the kosi as further north south of the ann jay.
Not sure of the names of the wrecks.
I was told by an ausfish member they may even be shipping containers that where used for bombing practice by the airforce.
Who knows???
Guess the only way is to find and old skipper/deckie who can remember that far back
Cheers Troy
north, south lol
j-park trawler is 18.9 miles from the kosi, How that for a hint ? Definately differant places though
meant further north of j park and to the south of the ann jay.
Cheers Troy
To easy ooglie, check out the list of wrecks on the Maritime museums web site there are hundreds of wrecks off the cape we could be fishing on, might have to cruise between fishing spots a little slower and pay more attention to the sounder from now on.
cheers liam
ooglie74 has hit the nail on the head. it is a very hard spot to get.
it is a line of containers that fell of a ship.
great to jig
Been there once with a mate its ENE of cape moreton about ten miles, is in 120/140 metres, great show of fish on the sounder but the current was raging and we could not get the baits to the bottom. Would love to try again in winter when the current drops off.
