What softare versions for Navman

I have just bought the 5380 & 4380 (Navman). Both look really good and hoping to get out and try them in next couple of days

What are the latest software versions of these? and do I need to dend for upgrade?

My versions are:

4380 - 1.6.8 (17/11/2005)
Serial - 0505A30050633

5380 - 1..11 (16th December 2005)
Serial - 0601A30010515

Just want to make sure it's all up to date and ready to go.

Both software versions are ok. I think 1.6.8 on the sounder may not read engine hours. V1.6.9 will fix this.
Make sure also that the tracker antenna is not too close to the 4380 as well.

Steve thanks for your help - could you also answer the following:

How do I get the 1.6.9 update?

The Tracker is a internal they are mounted side by side (well Fish finder under the tracker) - is this ok or what probs could it cause.

I asked the shop to instal a local map and they seem to have put in a NT+ rather than a max card, what more would a max offer on this tracker?

It was part of the "new boat" package but I think they can be got for $500 - $550 (excluding the local map which is about $150).

The F4380 will interfere with T5380i. You can verify this buy getting a good fix and going into the gps page and then turn f4380 on. If the green bars drop then you have a problem.
Also, the max card and NT+ are not very different. The max card is good for all east/west coast of Aus.
