Mustad demon finewire for bream, penetrators fo other species, larger size demon finewire for snapper and other reefies.
Cheap, fine gauge, sharp, have served me very well.
Cheers.
mustard, always have and probably always will, they have the experience adn quality, ive seen other hooks bend in normal fishing circumstances but never a mustard, and the chem sharpened ones take alot of punishment and hold their own, barely ever rust IMO
Mustard Chem sharpend ones...all the time

Probably owner as the most popular for me currently but i do have about ten different breeds and 50 different styles and keep going with sizes in my box.
It is entirely discerned by the style of fishing and the species and location as to what i reach for tho.

figjam
Gamakatsu Occys for single hook rigs (strong and stay sharp) and mustads for whiting and ganging (easily available in many sizes) if somewhat soft in the smaller sizes.

Gamatsu whever possible.
I use ganged hooks with pillies a lot and the Gamatsu Gangsters are a thinner sharper smoother hook than the equivalent Mustad and they penetrate the bait and the target fish very easily.
They are a far more expensive hook than the Mustads but I reckon that I would rather spend my $ on the business end of the end-to-end relationship that I have with the fish than on, say, a flash rod at my end.![]()
Eagle claw, vmc and gamakatsu are what normally buy, though I'll use some of the mustads too. I love the gamakatsus for sharpness strong thin guage hooks. The eagle claw and mustad long shanks are great for whiting and for thicker, stronger hooks I use the vmcs.
