    Killtank

Was wondering if it's worth getting a kill tank for a 5.45 boat. how usefull are they and will it affect stability. So far i'm down to tabs ocean seriesbbbbb. live bait tank. box seats. What else do i need to consider on a new boat???

    Re: Killtank

I have a reasonably large kill tank in the floor in my plate ally boat.

It is handy to slap a large fish into after you have throat cut it to bleed it out.

Ater being down in there and settled down than I transfer to the ice slurry in the ice chest.

It does help keep your ice slurry much cleaner but boy does that kill tank pong after a while.

Also not so good if you are soft in tyhe tummy, head right done at floor level with that pong, geeez it sets me off at times.

Is a great way to get a flapping fish out from under your feet though, especially if you are onto a school of them.
