Sorry to revive an old post but I had to throw 2c into the ring.
Holy oversized boats batman!
I was up at Rainbow last week and must have counted over 50 big plate boats beeing dragged up the highway towards fraser. Got stuck at the BP @ Gympie while some good 'ol boys put 500+ l of unleaded into boat & drums in the back of the cruiser.
It must be a hell of a lot of fun for that many boys to go to that much trouble / expense & effort.
on a slightly sour note I saw several cruisers with chest freezers on the back. Pretty poor if they are all coming back loaded up with fillets.

There have been alot of whiting and big dart around teewah and coolumn, hence i'm assuming they will be working on fraser aswell. Haven't heard of any tailor runs as such.
