    Condition At Wello

    Hi Guys just wanting to know what conditions would be like at wello wednesday forecast is for 10 to 15 knots se/e .I will be in a 3.75 m stessco with a 20 yammie i am just not sure whether it would be a bit to rough.

    Mate it all depends what you mean by too rough. If i take the kids anything over 10 knots is too rough for them but if it is T1 and I anything over 20knots will be too rough have fished there plenty of times blowing 15 to 20knots so 10 to 15 knots you will be fine. If you think it is a bit rough for you when you are out there just come back it is very close and safe that is the beauty of wello.

    Don't forget that the ramp at Wello is exposed to the east - the shallowish water provides some protection, but can get a small surf on the ramp if the wind picks up.

    G'day

    There are 3 ramps at wello... the one on the left of the jetty will be slightly protected in a SE.... but its extremely shallow at low tide.... usually need to drive your car onto the beach to get to the water.

    10 - 15kts will be ok in a 12'er..... but mush more than that and it gets a little uncomfortable.

    There's only one way to find out!

    Thanks guys tinn i should rephrase i meant to say would it be to uncomfortable in a 12'er .Ended up not going any way to many things to do.
