    Quick trip to 1770

Went for run up to 1770 from south of Bribane and than out to Fitzroy reef on Saturday Morning come back in Sunday lunch time and then back home , not often I get to go out here near the full moon with these conditions.

We caught a nice feed of what I call baking size Trout and a bin of red throat sweet lip went looking for red empor but only caught a half dozen or so up to 50 cm.

Always get a good feeling when I see younger people interested in fishing.

What a beautiful part of Australia (well worth the effort)

Nice trout and lipper anthony. The sweetlip have been a bit scarce of late so well done. Conditions looked pretty bad! What sort of cat have you got?

Not bad for a days fishing. Some nice feeds will come out of that lot, good on ya. Looks like the sea conditions where a bit hard to handle too.

We had a week camping at Eurimbula National Park just near 1770. Fished from the canoe but only caught small stuff. Nice camp spot though. Here are some photos of the trip

Well done, nice feed. We are off tomorrow bright and early for our yearly week up there . Weather was not looking good but looks like it will get better as the week moves on. We never drive that far out for a feed but this year we hope toget out to Boult for an overnighter for something different as my mate has a mark for good reds and trout.

Thumbs up Re: Quick trip to 1770

Nice catch, heading up there myself in the next week and also going for a big Red. But hey, if I had that in my kill tank I would be still happy. Great effort!!
