Re: My first threadie and a nice snapp bonus

Thanks again fellas, a few solid runs and then slog it out deep, i was fishing heavy but sorry yella hunter couldn;t tell you exactly what line class. I was only trying out a reel from garretts friend that was pre spooled. I'd say 8 maybe even 10 kg mono. HEY For Steve inside of St helena just look for the bait showers ,it was awsome to see that much bait ,there were a few razors there lost a few jigs ,came back with about 5 cms of 12 bl fluro leader. Actually wouldn't mind checking it out today but the oldest boy has pulled the pin and Garrett wants to go breamin so change of plan.

Sharkbaithoohaa, 12.950 kg and probably about 15 mins . they certainly like to fight and slog it out deep, I've heard you talk about the eating quality of these fish . I couldn't believe the beautiful fillets i ended up with. bugger those big nodgel type bones in the spine though.
