my first set of spotters had to go back for there second rebirth. Fisrt time the lense come partial out of the frame, had a few little scratches on the lenses so I got a new set put in at the same time. Frames free, lenses and P&H $80. 12 months down the track the arm broke off, back again for new frames and another set of lenses. So in the mean time I purchased a new set, month old and stuck my head up at the wrong time and if it hadnt been for the spotters I would have drove a stick in my eye, so now I need a new lense in my new ones because of a scatch in the middle of the lense. Whats a man to do. Dont like glass lense as they are tooooo heavy (wear them all day for eye protection) and polly carb lense are better for protection against flying metal objects.
Just my winge for the week
the winds blowin, its raining, fishing and all boat related activity cancelled
sipping a glass of white (prefer red)
cheers

I just had my new spotters back to the makers to have the lenses replaced. They are "thunder photocramatic" (SP) ones .....about $275.. The makes replaced them free of charge after some haggling so I can't complain...
I have had Mako's for years with no problems but the spotters leave them for dead.
Oh weather here in Darwin... 31 and fine... 10-15 knts... tide is an 7mtr swing though.
G'day Blaze. Cripes, where do you fellows get the money from to be able to squander it on these sunglasses? When we did some testing for Choice magazine some years ago we found that the cheaper brown/amber polarised lenses or neutral grey worked as well if not better than most of these overpriced sunglasses. In fact one pair of very expensive german sunglasses had odd lenses!
