Global Warming?????
Dunno about that mate.
I was speaking to my dads mate last weekend and he is a beach bum and loves hes tailor and he was telling me and my dad that the water temp is still too high for the winter species like the big bream, jewies and tailor, to come in and i guess this is because of global warming. Whats your opinion on this??
Global Warming?????
Dunno about that mate.
We just haven't had a big burst of cold air from down south yet. It won't be too far away with the high pressure systems creeping up over the continent.
Heya Scoocer101
It has been a very late change of season and will almost certainly have a few species arriving late on the scene. Just looking at the AF air temp it's still 23.6 at 9-30pm and it's May :<
Yeh agree with straddie,
Usually the first big cold snap, around the first state of origin is a good time to get organised and we find the second origin is the time.
Cheers
Dan
Yeah unfortunatly just after the Fraser fishing comp it starts gettin good.
Nice tatto who did the art work
might as well blame global warming...all the doom and gloomers are blaming it for anything that happens. Start of May is usually too soon for the winter species...give it another month.
Will let you know next week if the jew have turned up, first expo for the year???
The new moon on the 17th of this month should mark the beginning of the bream season at the Pin. If so, that would be about the normal time. In wet years an early run could be expected in the first two weeks of April and then a lull until about the middle of May.
Don't know about global warming but am inclined to believe that it should be called 'planetary warming' because other planets are also showing signs of increased temperature.
I suspect we'll find out soon about global warming.
Research suggests the Arctic ice in summer will have melted somewhere between 2020 and 2050 - depending on who you listen too.
Yeh, it's probably global warming. Lets set up a few nuclear reactors to solve the problem...........................
Tallebudgera River Breakwall ~ been noticing mullet moving around the river entrance. I'm told this is a good sign....
Global Warming - wouldn't be so sure about that. Climate change has been happening on this planet for millions of years, and will continue to do so, so nothing remains static (now whether or not we help things along in this day and age is another matter...)
