Not Much Up The Passage
Seeing as how tonight is the full moon, I decided to see if the bream have arrived yet. Not quite cool enough yet but I was keen to give it a go. I was on the water by about 4pm ...first cast .. a 31cm bream. Bloody heaps of blue swimmer crabs annoying the hell out of me. Nothing much happened then just on sunset one line took off..29cm whiting. I moved around...sat around and waited but nothing else...headed home..back home at 10pm..will wait another month and have another go...hopefully it will be as good as last year.

Looking forward to the cooler months myself. The snapper and bream are going to be good fun especially on my new outfit. Good to see you are out there having a fish Greg.

Re: Not Much Up The Passage
I was up there today (Friday) looking for some late sandies. Launched about 5.30 and put the pots down, then went looking for some fish. Caught heaps of grass sweetlip between 20 and 25 cm, plus a few small squire, bream and whiptails. A couple of the bream were barely legal but I did not bring a single fish home. Managed only 5 legal sandies, although there were a lot of undersized bucks about. Beautiful day on the water with no breeze until the north-easter came in about midday.
