Great report T1,

It's good to put your mates onto the fish but I feel for you on two counts.
1. Being outfished by the deckie can play on your state of mind. This has happened to me on several of my recent trips.
2. I think we can all empathise with the weak leader issue. You're half way through a drift and can almost feel a fish taking the SP - you'd take the risk everytime! Besides it would just be another chance for the deckie to get another one up on you....

G'Day T1, mate i rekon that you cant go past the old floatin pillie at night. That was what did the damage. You just gotta know how to use them sometimes!!! Although that was the first time i've used bait in a while as i to have been caught up in the plastic frenzy!!! I have found i've caught alot of my bay snaps on the floatin pillie, there to hard to resist for the red fish. I may see you out there some time as i fish the area alot myself (live 5mins from the ramp), i'm in a white 420 stacer seahawk with a 40 yammy!!!!!

FOGGY, Graham, my time will come with the BIG one! I think i've been lucky enough over the past year to have caught a few rippers, especially when i least expected it! What do I need you for? Well just to fish with you - always great to fish with someone who loves their fishing like me... Plus, you never stop learning as you know!

OB1, Ollie, I always outfish him on his boats so it's only fair that he returns the favour on mine! I'm always ecstatic to see good mates catch good fish especially on 'my gear' and 'my spots'!

ALB78, Adrian, I rarely use pillies at Wello but TINN does. I tend to use flesh baits. Will keep an eye out and hoping to get out perhaps Sat night. I'm in an aluminium CC (old boat) with white spray curtains and black AF stickers.

Nice haul there young fella, some nice fish.Hope we have the same this weekend . a bit of gulp poggy mate, did the fish cough that up.
