    Suzuki EP20 NMEA2000 Engine Interface

Is there any bother currently running one of these Lowrance/Suzuki NMEA2000 EP20 engine interfaces ?

I was looking at getting a new Garmin plotter but I think I will be punting that idea and running one of these on a new DF150 with a Lowrance Plotter

Greg, i run the interface with a DF200 and globalmap 7200c. Gives you all sorts of usefull info, but the best thing for me is the precise fuel usage figures as they come direct form the injector sensors. i now am able to manage my fuel more efficiently and gone are the days when i had to syphon 150litres of fuel out of the tank to use in the wifes car cos things are not sitting as long.

Luke... if your motor is post 04 then there is a good chance you can use the interface. I can PM you the email of a guy in the states that is very onto the whole NMEA thing if you would like

greg I have researched the interface and have ordered the Garmin 4008 with the EP 20 engine interface it will be fitted on the 14 th. I have recieved a tech support email from garmin assuring me all will work on the NMEA 2000 interface. The lowrance will work as well but after waiting 8 weeks for a lowrance unit enough was enough so the garmin was ordered
I have been told the mapping software for the garmin is very good looking forward to seeing it all work
    regards mark

    Thanks Mark

I ended up getting mine from Lake n Sea in the US and had it fitted to my DF150. I am running it through a 7200C Lowrance and it is great bit of technology for sure
