Re: Getting Colour Back to Your Cast Net?
well its a very old cast net and all the rope and colour has faded out of it making it hard to see fish in the net, its a large net and with the colour and the thickness of the mono used to make it, it makes locating things hard and as a result of this ive come back to use it a few times to find week/month old fish fossilzed in it, just wondering if its possible to dye it a different colour/ darker colour i.e the darker shade of green that it once was. as i said before its a monofilament net but the mono is fairly thick and a little worn from use but non the less still good, just wondering if the the dye would stay on it. it would give it a facelift aswell as making it a little easier to find some fish in it.
