Went to lake Macdonald on Anzac Day and caught my first Saratoga , measured 69cm.The fish jumped and run line. I was still shaking with adrenalin 5 minutes later and cursing the wife for having the camera down Brisbane. Caught the saratoga trolling from the botanical gardens towards the dam wall about 40 foot from bank at around 11.50am, using a light purple see through kokoda bibless lure.Trolling as slow as the electric goes.
Off course I rung my mate to let him no what he was missing out on .Caught no bass but after the saratoga it didn 't matter.
top stuff dambass good to see someone got something to write home about , i was there on the same morning fishing from around 6am to 9:30am for 1 bass 32cm , trying just about every lure in the box and covering a lot of ground.
