Sorry to brag here guys, but I just can't contain my excitement here - most Dart seem to come in 20-25cm'ish, this fella I caught this morning (Saturday 28th) is well over 30cm and put up one heck of a fight !!!
Not much else happening though. Lots of little Bream around..

(how big do they get? This is a personal best for me ~ caught on live yabbies).

    Well done Rogersto
They actually get up 60 cm. We normally get fish in the 40cm to 50cm range at Moreton and Nth & Sth Straddie. It's great when you can get on to a school of the big greenbacks because they fight like hell in the surf.

    well done mate

yeah, they get up to 60 cm, although i have never caught one this size, nor heard of anyone catching one 60 cm.

I got a really big one mid last year: 46 cm it was, it had a really short tail and thick middle, quite a different build from the normal greenback dart. I got it off the rocks so I thought it was a good trev.

When they come in in big schools we get in the 40 - 50cm range aswell. Great fighters!!!

I love it when they move in big schools. This one seemed to be all alone, or a small school, but I've had times there getting one hookup after another, for maybe half hour to an hour then it's all over
