Mobile Mechanic (north side)

Tried doing a search because there are heaps of simmilar threads to this, but my search does not work.

Need to get a service done on my 100 merc, and only want to go mobile. Was last done by Brisbane Mobile Marine, but when I rang them a few weeks ago he seemed disintrested. I think he must have been busy and did not want to bother travelling up north. Was suppose to call me back but hasn't.

Anyway, does anyone know a good mechanic that does north side and does not charge an arm and a leg?

can second the recommendation of hh17l, cheech. wade looks after my 135 merc motor and i've been very happy with his work. he also seems genuinely interested in how you rate his workmanship too. ie. when he first serviced my outboard i was having some starting and idling problems that i asked him to fix up. i took the boat for a run a couple of weeks later and the problem was still there, he came back up to beachy from redcliffe and spent about 3 hours including travel and a water test to sort the problem. he then didn't want paying for the 3 hours work, i can't have a guy working for me for nothing so he eventually accepted a 50, but needless to say i got him back again for the next service. his rate for my v6 was $250 (this included labour and grease and gear oil) plus parts as required, plus $15 travel from redcliffe to beachy.

I recommend wade as well, I was very happy with the service he did on my honda 130hp. well priced and knows his stuff.
