    Kids and sunday squire.

Sunday morning I spent a pleasent couple of hours wandering around the boaties market. Met Phill and Steve and picked up some stickers for the boat.

So,, didnt hit the water till about 11am. At Raby Bay..Some one had just left and I got a park 3 spaces up from the ramp.
Headed over to Peel for some lunch and the girls had a swim for 2 hours.
About 1.30 we went to a spot I wanted to try on the northern side of Peel.

I didnt do much fishing, what with having to bait and rerig for the ladies.
After about an hour they had caught about a dozen undersize squire and sweetlip. Then 8 year old Sammy says" Dad ,I got another snag,,NO ITS A FISH. and I cant hold on to it"
After about 5 minutes of her holding the butt and winding,( a few good runs) and me holding the rod above the reel mum nets a squire.
    54 cms........
The look on Sams face was priceless.

A few more little ones and we got back to the ramp about 3.30.

It fed the lot of us for dinner.
All I hear now is " when are we going fishing again"

    Ah...Love it....
