Young bloke didn't have to work today so i don't know who was more happy me or him . anyway it was off to Green to have a play, but the piece of ground i've been working consistently was very quiet except for a grassie and another parrot on plastic. Really tried hard to come up with another bream and a gold spot cod at St helena.Got the normal undersize squire and grinners as well so with such a nice day and quiet on the reef we went out to harries looking for surface fish and we had a few shots at some tuna. Garrett hooked onto a P.B mac tuna for him on his 2-5 kg T curve rod ,2500 stradic with 10 bl braid and a 10bl leader and a 110mm evil minnow flick bait. The young bloke did well on the fish and was left with not much backing on that reel twice and sweating on that knot between his backing and braid with about 160 meters out and us chasing the fish to get that knot back on the spool. 30 minutes of huff and puff and a bit of sweat and garrett lands his best bay mac at just over 6 kg I don't know what was the best ,the glassy bay or seeing the young blokes smile
