The Pin Today 20/04/07 - Nothing to Report

With a day off today I took the neighbour down to the Pin for his first visit. Having previously fished the Pine River with him and getting zilch ! I told him we'd get fish at the Pin

We fished from 6:30am - midday for two barley leagl whiting which went back. Plenty of pickers about but no solid fish

It was a great morning on the water non the less. No fish pics but some of the ordinary conditions this morning

We tried from Swan bay through to Kalingal bank, along the northern side of Cursoe, Drifted along the eastern side of Short, Up Coby Coby and along the Slipping sands.

We were using fresh prawns, squid and live beach works from the Gem, even pumped a few yabbies.

We saw a shark of some sort launch itself out of the water by about 2ft while anchored up on the southern end of the slipping sands. No getting towed by a tube for me there from now on

No fish hey! Well looking at those conditions it still beats a day in the office.
