Hay all,
I am coming down from Caboolture to fish the lower reaches of the big river leaving from the ramp at pinkenba . I am taking my uncle fishing for the day he likes to soak a bait and I like to flick plastic but I have no idea where to start any good starting points would be of great help .

HEad from the ramp towards the mouth of the river. You will come across a rock wall running towards the mouth on the northern side of the river, thats very very long, thats the sunken wall. Drift along and just off it throing ya placcies.
The weather should be fine for you tomorrow to go just outside the mouth to the reclamation pond walls, on the right hand side as you go out the mouth.
Other spot is the old Fort Lytton jetty. On the southern bank as you head up to the river mouth. You'll know it, it has a heap cut out of it halfway out so people cant walk out it anymore.
