    Where to buy Grant's Guide

    Hi Ausfishers,

I'm after a Grant's Guide to Fishes,. I figured if I was going to invest in a decent one I might as well get the best.

I'm having a bit of difficulty in tracking one down. I noticed there's a website (that may be out of date) where you can order it through the post, but this is a bit of hassle without a cheque book.

The best I've found online is Dymocks, but it's $130 and out of stock.

    Any other suggestion?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I went through this just a while ago, they can be purchased from the Author as they are "self published" and they are not readily available from bookstores as such

Got mine from Angus and Roberts Cannon Hill Store May last year. $99.95. This is my second one. The first would be over 20 years old now.

I would suggest going through the extra hassle and getting it direct from Ern Grant. At least that way you know the money is going directly to him. He has put a lot of work into the book over the years to trun it into the great source of information that it is.

Plus, If you get it direct from him he even autographs it for you. You never know, the autographed copies may become a collectors item in years to come.

    Cheers

Try searching the book stores online first (saves fuel by not driving to each store).

Do the above or try the boys at Morayfield in the camping store there. THey have it much cheaper than you have found. I have the old,old edition and find it much better than the new ones.

You could try secondhand book shops as well as they have plenty of books in great condition for much cheaper prices.

The angus robertson stores will order one in for you if they dont have one in stock if you wanted it from a bookstore.
