    That is gorgeous, Stuart.

    I was given a Wonder Weaver and DVD/book but haven't taken the time to use it yet. Is that the tool that you are using? How was the learning curve and how many hours does a weave like that take?

    No wounder weaver here, I designed and made my own years ago. I find the wounder weaver a bit bulky and cumbersome for what I do. In having said that I think your jig will serve you well. I never had a DVD or a book to guide me in learning how to do weaves. I had to use old brain power and figure it out that way. It took me years to work out how to weave but more importantly how to design a pattern that will work, that is the real art of weaving. That particular weave of the Spanish mackerel took me 7 hours to complete.
