    Installing central locking in Hilux

    Hi Everyone,

I've got a '99 dual cab hilux that I want to install central locking into. I have bought a kit but has anyone got any examples of where they have fitted the actuators ?

Photos would be great if possible..

Ill have a look at my lab managers ute. It's a 2003 dual cab but it shouldn't be too different. Will take some pics if it looks easy.

Re: Installing central locking in Hilux

Thanks Brett but have just finished installing it today (well mostly). I can post photos if anyone is interested

Got it all working up to locking stage (ie. can either lock all the doors with a key or by just moving the front locks) but have yet to install all the wiring for the remotes.

Still got to find some power that is activated when the ignition is in the "ON" position and then (even more fun) trying to track down the indicator light wires so i can attach the blinking wires for when you turn it on and off..

$15 to get it installed -- geez i wish i had that option. Local mob here are charging a couple of hundred.

    Thanks for the replies
